Painting Pottery

I took the kids out to paint pottery today. They all had a good time. The boys were finished way before Caitlin was though.

This is Ostin and his rattlesnake.

Caleb and his guitar bank.

And Caitlin and her elephant bank.

Real Men

This morning Caleb found a McDonald's toy that he had not opened. He kept getting frustrated because the little man would not stand up on his own. He asked Ostin how he got his guy to stand up. This is the following conversation from that point:

Ostin: He just stands on his legs.
Caleb: He won't!
Ostin: Look inside the bag and read the instructions.
Caleb: I don't need any stupid instructions. I know how to do it already.

That's right - real men don't need instructions.

(Of course, he ignored my comment of how he was the one asking how to work the toy, so he obviously did need instructions.)
